Weekly Toolbox Talk: Workplace Solicitation and Safety Policies

workplace solicitation and safety policies

Workplace Solicitation & Safety Policies

We are committed to maintaining a safe, productive, and professional work environment at MAREK. To ensure that all employees can focus on their tasks without distractions, we have clear guidelines regarding the solicitation and distribution of materials in the workplace.

Our Solicitation Policy

Employees may not solicit or promote support for any cause or organization during work hours.

  • Working hours refer to the time when employees are actively performing their job duties for MAREK.
  • This policy applies to both the person soliciting and the person being solicited.
  • Non-employees and outside organizations are strictly prohibited from soliciting or distributing materials on company property or job sites at any time.

Food & Drink Sales on the Jobsite

For health and safety reasons, employees are not permitted to sell or distribute food and drinks on the jobsite. This rule helps prevent contamination, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and minimizes distractions.

Why This Matters

  • Helps maintain a focused and professional work environment.
  • Reduces safety risks by preventing unauthorized food handling.

What Should You Do?

  • If you have any questions about these policies, contact the HR team.
  • If you notice unauthorized solicitation or food sales, report it to your supervisor.
