MBS Dallas will start on the construction of a new regional headquarters for EnCana Oil & Gas in July 2011. The high-rise building is being described as the largest Class A office project to begin construction in North Texas since the recession in 2008. MBS was awarded the project from general contractor Austin Commercial in March 2011, while Dallas based developer KDC will oversee EnCana’s office project, and Corgan Associates is the project architect. The 12-story office building project is located in the popular mixed-use development, Legacy Town Center in Plano. MBS Dallas will be working on the core and shell of this 320,000 square foot office building. The project manager for this project will be MBS Dallas’s Division Manager-Special Projects, David Smith, David Sparacino, MBS Production Manager, along with Joe Rodriguez and Simon Rodriguez who will be the project’s foremen. EnCana Oil & Gas is focusing on creating a wonderful facility that offers their employees a great surrounding and all the benefits of a first-class building. EnCana Oil & Gas is one of the largest natural gas producers in North America and plans to move into the building at Plano’s Legacy Town Center the second quarter of 2012, and MBS Dallas project team is devoted to doing just that.
