Project Scope:
The Texas State History Museum (aka Bob Bullock Texas State Museum) was opened in 2001 and constructed by Marek for Constructors & Associates. This impressive museum is one of the most popular attractions in Central Texas. This four-story facility tells the unfolding “Story of Texas” with exhibits throughout the year. Within the facility, Marek constructed the tall walls and provided the acoustical ceilings, baffles and wall panels which help make a state-of-the art IMAX theatre that has become a huge draw for visitors. Marek’s detailed construction of the impressive gypsum atrium rotunda ceiling is the kind of work that you can expect from our skilled craftsmen.
