Named in honor of Moe and Gene Johnson, this state-of-the-art, 3-story, 413,500 square foot school for Hays CISD opened in August 2019 to the Freshman and Sophomore classes. A high school building that includes classrooms, labs, auto-shops, veterinary tech and cosmetology classrooms, multimedia production studios, band hall and theater rooms. The project highlights the architecture of the atrium that spans up to 60 feet high, a 3rd story rooftop garden. GFRG/GFRC columns reached 30 feet in height and numerous acoustical wall panels located throughout the building.
